The Nursery's philosophy is a Play Based Curriculum, it is recognised by many researchers of early years education that Play has a value in a child’s own spontaneous growth. Play is very characteristic of children in the age range of 2yrs - 6yrs as this is a major developmental period. Children are at the heart of the curriculum and Play based, holistic learning opportunities must be central to early childhood learning and teaching.
